Who is Allah? Who is he really? We have seen that he is not the same as the God of the Old and New Testaments. What God provided and endorsed, such as wine and artistic expression, Allah prohibits. What God says will not exist: marriage in eternity after the Resurrection, Allah promises his followers in his Paradise.

We have also seen that Allah describes himself as the great deceiver, a schemer, a shyster, that he deliberately misguides.

Who does Jesus describe in those specific terms?

John 8:44 (NAU): “You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies.”

Think back to the beginning of life on the earth. What were the first words out of Satan’s mouth? A lie.

Satan is a liar and the father of lies; a murderer from the beginning. What do we see Allah doing? We see him calling on his followers to murder all the non-Muslims. As we have discussed, a time will come when all the Jews will be killed, along with any Christians and others who refuse to embrace Islam. Muhammad even said to kill the Jews wherever you find them. In John 16:1, Jesus states that an hour is coming when people will kill His followers, meaning Christians, thinking they are doing a service to God. There is also a long history of Muslims killing other Muslims.

So we see Allah lying about eternity, speaking of a false paradise that biblically will not exist, and exhorting his followers to kill and murder.

When reading the Qur’an, one finds that Allah delights in speaking of death, destruction, and judgment, instigating fear and terror. Love? Not so much. As 1 John 4:18 tells us, love and fear are antithetical; where the one predominates, the other does not.

God so loved the world that He gave His Son, and while we were yet sinners Christ died for us; in contrast Allah hates all those outside of Islam. Jesus tells us to pray for those who persecute us, to love our enemies, and do good; Allah tells his followers to kill his enemies. God, Jesus Christ, died for us; Allah tells his followers to die for him. God, the God of the Old and New Testaments, is antithetical to Allah.

When taking everything into account, there is only one conclusion: Allah is Satan, masquerading as God. Muslims believe they are headed to a wonderful carnal paradise. Instead, they will find themselves, barring repentance and turning to faith in Christ, in eternal hell. Pray that in His mercy, God opens their eyes, and draws them to the truth of His Son, Jesus Christ. God still changes people’s lives. God’s love is still drawing people to Him. If there is one thing Muslims do not know, it is the genuine love of God. Jesus loves and died for Muslims.
