God’s Faithfulness in Judgment, Part 2: The Political Right

God is judging America through the political Right just as He is doing through the political Left. Both sides advocate anti-Biblical positions.

The political Right? You may be thinking, “How can that be?” After all it is the political Right that tends to support the traditional understanding of male and female and gender identity. As we’ve previously noted, most Christians are (unfortunately) allied with the political Right. In some circles, to dare say that God is judging the country through the political Right is almost considered a denial of being a Christian.

But, what about the “new right,” also called the “woke right”? Granted, the Right doesn’t use those terms in the same way as the political Left, but the rising “woke right” is every bit as dangerous.

Who is involved, and what do they declare? Two of the most powerful influencers are Tucker Carlson and Candace Owens. Both have vast numbers of internet followers. Nick Fuentes—a holocaust denier—is also involved, but he is still more of a fringe element in antisemitic circles. All are seeking to align the political Right with their virulent anti-Israel views.

On October 25, 2025, Tucker Carlson declared that Christian Zionists—in essence meaning all Christians who support Israel—have a brain virus, are heretical, and that he dislikes them more than anyone else.

Think about those statements. Carlson is saying that he dislikes Christians more than Hamas, more than Antifa, more than criminals, more than literally anyone. I’m continuing to see more posts from conservative pastors mirroring his views, advocating what is in essence replacement theology, a subject previously covered.

What is happening? The “woke Right” is becoming every bit as hateful against Israel as the “woke Left.” The difficulty is that both sides are far removed from what God, via Scripture, directly states.

What does Scripture declare about Israel? Most of the details are found in Isaiah, Ezekiel, Zechariah, and Romans. In essence, the Jews will return from a world wide dispersion, the nation of Israel will be reborn in a day (happened in 1948), will come back as a secular state, will go through more refining hardships: two-thirds of the people will be killed at some future point. God will save the surviving one-third and that group will come to genuinely know Him. They will also look on the one who they pierced, meaning Jesus, and mourn for Him.

The Church is grafted in to Israel, not the other way around. Those who bless Israel will be blessed, those who curse Israel will be cursed. God sovereignly chose to use the Jews, and that decision still stands. Remember too, Jesus is Jewish.

Both political sides deny Scripture. Denial of Scripture does not lead to life, but to death: not just physical death, but spiritual death as well. Life is found through genuine repentance and placing faith in Jesus Christ. That key members of both political sides advocate the same anti-God position is yet another sign of the deep trouble we are in, a sign of God’s judgment.
