Fear. People are increasingly afraid. From watching institutions crumble, to increased lawlessness and violence, to reports of various spiritual signs, people are worried.

In the previous post we looked at numerous reports of Roman Catholic Church leaders opening portals to the demonic, and arguably deliberately releasing spiritual havoc on the world. We saw that the reports were twisted, deliberate fear-inducing fabrications.

UFO’s, drones, and orbs. If there is a topic getting more traction than the Pope’s supposed unleashing the occult, it is the topic of worldwide UFO, orb, and drone sightings.

What are they? All sorts of explanations abound. I am aware of some Christian intercessors who maintain they are from China, probing our country for weaknesses or worse. Others say they are alien craft, some say a mix of U.S. military and alien craft. Some insist that mix is protecting us from some other alien something. Then there’s the idea that they are drones looking for signs of a stolen dirty nuclear bomb, possibly hidden somewhere in the US, awaiting detonation. Another speculation is that they relate to nefarious deep state activity, activity that is seeking to fake an alien invasion in order to induce massive destruction. Still others have described them as Ezekiel’s wheel within wheels.

In some ways, the Ezekiel description could be the scariest, as when those beings are mentioned in Ezekiel, they end up as part of the signs of God’s presence leaving the nation of Israel, prior to God’s judgment of Israel.

The question remains: What are they? One thing must be said: there is a correlation between involvement in the occult and UFO sightings and alien abductions. To me, UFOs, alien beings, and the like, are tied to the demonic. As more people embrace the occult, the increase in sightings and related stories isn’t a surprise.

One more current fear: the potential rise of bird flu. Social media is starting to disclose a few cases of it in the United States. How is that being reported? Dire warning: it is far more contagious than Covid, and potentially compares to the Spanish Flu of 1918. One person on social media said that one fourth of the United States population died during the Spanish Flu. If that percentage was true, the total population of the United States would have to have been only 2.7 million, not the 106 million that it actually was, as 675,000 people in the United States died (worldwide the total number deaths is estimated to be between 50–100 million). So we have yet another example of a fear-mongering falsehood (that isn’t to deny the severe nature of that 1918 outbreak).

As Christians, it is vital that we not get caught up in the worries and fears of those in the world. We’ll have more to say in the next post, but for now will close with Isaiah 8:12 (NAU): “You are not to say, ‘It is a conspiracy!’ In regard to all that this people call a conspiracy, And you are not to fear what they fear or be in dread of it.”

That command from God is quite clear, isn’t it?
