Need to modify
Why can’t Christians just get along? These days, it almost seems as if Christianity is associated with division, according to an article on Beliefnet.com*—and many other religious (and nonreligious) sites online. But does it have to be that way?
As you suggested, one reason is indeed, to sell books. But it goes deeper than that. My bigger concern is that Christians remain faithful, even in the difficult days ahead, and continue to hold to the Scriptures as God-breathed, as God's truth that has not changed, regardless of what others insist. We need to continue to draw closer to Christ, and to each other as believers.
